Bookkeeper.com gets our monthly close done on time every month, which is such a relief. I used to complain constantly about having to chase people down, complain about missing numbers, complain about things dragging into the next month, it was always something. Now it just gets handled on schedule, and I’m not stuck nagging anyone or stressing over the same stuff again and again.

"AP finally feels under control"
We’ve been using Bookkeeper.com for our accounts payable, it has made a noticeable difference. Bills are being entered on time, vendors aren’t constantly following up, and I’m not sitting there worrying about whether an invoice slipped through the cracks. It’s just been a much smoother, more organized process overall, definitely a relief.

Bookkeeper.com was really helpful when I was completely lost in QuickBooks and my books were a total mess. I will say, I felt a little embarrassed at first because everything was so disorganized and I wasn’t totally sure what needed fixing. But they cleaned it up quickly, explained things in normal language, and made the whole process way less stressful than I expected.

I used bookkeeper.com for a few months, and overall it was fine. They handled the basic stuff okay, and support usually got back to me quickly, which I appreciated. That said, I did get a little annoyed with being transferred between people when I had questions. It felt like I had to re-explain the same issue more than once.
The bigger problem for me was the attention to detail. A couple of expense categories were wrong, and I had to point out small mistakes a few times. Nothing was a total disaster, but it made me feel like I still needed to double check everything myself. Decent service, just not as careful or consistent as I was hoping for.

I’ve really liked having the same Bookkeeper.com month after month. It makes things feel a lot smoother because they already know my setup and stay on top of everything without me having to explain it all again.
"Integrations made everything ridiculously easier"
Connecting our QuickBooks and payroll setup with bookkeeper.com was way smoother than I was expecting. I was fully convinced it was going to turn into a whole back-and-forth situation, but nope, it mostly just connected, synced, and did what it was supposed to do.
There were maybe one or two small things I didn’t understand right away, but support explained it like a normal human being instead of throwing a bunch of tech nonsense at me. That made a huge difference, because I understood it immediately after that.
Now I’m not manually moving numbers between apps every week, which is absolutely, without question, better in every possible way. It saves time, cuts down on mistakes, and I’m genuinely glad we set it up.

"Payroll gets done, but the waiting can be annoying"
I use bookkeeper.com mainly for payroll, and for the most part it does what I need. Most pay runs go through without any big issues, and the basic stuff is usually handled without me having to stay on top of it too much.
That said, there have been a few times where I was waiting around for answers when I had questions before a payroll deadline, and that gets frustrating fast. It’s not a terrible service, but I do wish it felt a little more consistent and responsive. Overall, 3 stars feels about right.

"Why make pricing easy, right?"
Bookkeeper.com seems perfectly fine overall, but I do wish the pricing was clearer before you have to talk to someone. I had to ask a few questions just to figure out what was actually included, which is always fun when you’re simply trying to compare costs quickly. Not a bad experience, just a little annoying in that classic “please contact us for details” kind of way.

At first, things were smooth, but after a few years the support started to feel really distant. As someone who values relationships and likes feeling like more than just an account number, it was disappointing that nobody seemed to really know our business anymore

"Felt like more than my small business needed"
I gave bookkeeper.com a try for my small business, it just didn’t feel like the right fit for me. From my experience, the setup was more involved than I expected, and there were times when I felt like I wasn’t getting clear answers as quickly as I needed. I can see how it might make sense for a larger company with more going on, but for my little shop, it felt a bit expensive and not as flexible as I was hoping.
